Message From Waterbury HEALTH Network

Like you, we have taken notice of the recent incidents taking place across our country. These are disturbing events that demonstrate that much work remains to build societies that provide equal justice and respect for all regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation or any other form of discrimination.

While we cannot control events in the world at large, we can influence what happens within Waterbury HEALTH.

We want to reinforce our message of solidarity and reaffirm our commitment to a diverse and inclusive culture that provides a safe and secure environment for all our employees, patients and families. Our goal each day is for Waterbury HEALTH to be a place where we can all be comfortable with who we are and where we demonstrate empathy and civility towards each other. We believe that inclusion and diversity make us a stronger team.

We celebrate the differences that make us unique, and we raise our voices in support of those who are treated unfairly or who cannot speak for themselves.

We urge all of you, no matter your background, to take time in the coming days to reflect and be sensitive to the different ways our Waterbury HEALTH colleagues are responding to what has happened.
